"The change in conference from the America East to the CAA, a top 10 Division I WSOC conference, is exciting and challenging.  After becoming a powerhouse in the America East, we are now on our way to do the same in the CAA. After making the playoffs in our first two seasons in the CAA, we are proud but we are not satisfied. Our goal is to take the next step and become CAA Champions. The level of competition has increased and so is the need to invest in the program. With the help of our donors, alums, friends and family we can make the necessary investments to accomplish our goal to return back to the top of the conference and to the NCAA Tournament."

Our student-athletes require comprehensive support to achieve their full potential. With your generous financial contribution, Stony Brook Athletics and the Women’s Soccer coaching staff can effectively meet these needs by providing holistic support to every member of the team. This includes, but is not limited to, the following areas:

Locker Room Enhancements: Our ladies spend more time together in our locker room than anywhere else. Upgrades to the facility, for example in the area of portable AC units, will enhance their experience, their ability to grow as a team and their ability to prepare and achieve success.

Recruiting: Every team we play in the CAA has great athletes. In order to become champions we must be able to get out and see high school and club players from all over the country. Identifying them and eventually getting them on campus for a first class official visit is vital to beating out our CAA competitors on the recruiting trail. 

Training and Player Equipment: Investments in how we train and prepare throughout the year and what we are able to outfit our athletes with for practice, training sessions and games all lead to better results.
