Tennis

“We aim to develop athletes who not only achieve success in their sport but also grow as leaders, scholars, and community members. Having the structure, support, and resources needed to help our student-athletes grow, compete at the highest levels, and experience the best of college sports is essential. Your financial contribution is crucial to our growth and directly impacts who we can recruit, who we can compete against, and what we can provide our student-athletes. Expanding connections with our community of friends, family and alumni is very important, and we look forward to continuing to grow together.”

-Tennis Coach, Thiago Dualiby

Our student-athletes require comprehensive support to achieve their full potential. With your generous financial contribution, Stony Brook Athletics and Coach Dualiby can effectively meet these needs by providing holistic support to every member of the team. This includes, but is not limited to, the following areas:

Spring Break Competition: In order to transition earlier to outdoor tennis and have more time to prepare for the CAA we would love to be able to kickstart our outdoor season with a trip to play teams from down south.

Facility and Training Enhancements: We need new windscreens, and an up to date tennis ball machine for increased player development.

Team Building: Events and initiatives that create an environment of togetherness and family.

Van Rentals and Transportation: We have to travel to an off campus site to train indoors during a large part of the year, and this expense truly adds up!

Sports Psychology: Individual and team sessions with a tennis specific sports psychologist to help us win the mental aspect of every match we play.
