Our student-athletes excel in the classroom, on the playing field, in the community and in life. It is through their commitment, dedication and hard-work that we are highly competitive year after year. The move to the CAA has certainly been exciting, and we are proud of how well we have done in the first two years in this challenging conference. As we continue to grow, both in our standards, goals and aspirations, the capability to support those student-athletes in their endeavors requires great vision, energy and philanthropy. Financial support from our alumni, friends, families and donors is vital to our future and every gift makes an impact!
The landscape of intercollegiate athletics is changing rapidly, and Seawolves Softball is steadfast in our belief that we will contend for championships and continue our tradition of success. We appreciate your support and I can promise you that we will continue to make you proud."
Maintaining a Championship Standard: Competing against a national non-conference schedule and grueling CAA schedule requires financial commitment and support.
Recruiting: Allows us to recruit nationally and identify the elite student-athletes needed to compete at Stony Brook both on the field and in the classroom.
Equipment: We must train and compete with cutting edge equipment and technology will allow us to compete with our peers and attract top tier talent.
The “Softball Fund for Excellence” operates as a tax exempt 501 (c) (3) nonprofit entity. All donations are fully deductible to the extent allowed by applicable law.
