Our student-athletes require comprehensive support to achieve their full potential. With your generous financial contribution, Stony Brook Athletics and the Women’s Basketball coaching staff can effectively meet these needs by providing holistic support to every member of the team. This includes, but is not limited to, the following areas:

Team Travel - We want to play a nationally competitive schedule and travel to and from in a first class manner to ensure our ladies can be focused on the game and then return to a normal, day to day academically cooperative lifestyle.

Technology and Training Equipment - to be the best we have to train, prepare and develop like the best. State of the are upgrades to technology in how we prepare physically, scout our opponents, recruit great players and stay ahead of the game is crucial to our success.

Recruiting Operations - Stony Brook is a national and international university. We want to compete on the national level and to do so we must recruit globally. To identify, attract and yield great players from all over the world we need the financial resources to not only go and see them but to then get them and their families on a visit to our amazing campus.

Once In a Lifetime Experience - It is our goal to provide a positively transformative experience for our ladies. We want this experience to be the best time of their lives both on the court and off. To provide such we need the financial support it takes to create a winning atmosphere and culture and that takes investment each day in every thing that we do.

The “Women’s Basketball Fund for Excellence” operates as a tax exempt 501 (c) (3) nonprofit entity. All donations are fully deductible to the extent allowed by applicable law.
