with a Special Opening Night showing of
the short film Across Grace Alley
Back on Track, (Sein Ietzes Rennen), directed by Kilian Riedhof. Written by Kilian Riedhof, Marc Blobaum and Peter Hinderthur. With Dieter Hallervorden, Tatja Seibt, Heike Makatsch (Love Actually). In this bittersweet drama, we meet Paul Averoff, former marathon runner and Olympic gold medal winner. Now in his seventies, he and his wife move to a depressing retirement home that offers either a singing group or handicraft classes, so Paul dons his running shoes and begins jogging in the park, and announces that he is training for the Berlin Marathon, which he intends to win. Across Grace Alley, a film by Ralph Macchio, featuring Marsha Mason (The Goodbye Girl), Karina Smirnoff (Dancing with the Stars), and Ben Hyland. A young boy struggling with his parents' divorce becomes infatuated with a woman he discovers through a neighboring window. A poignant coming of age story. Click here to view the trailer.
