Turner Strength in Self, the Community, and the Academy
To commemorate the silver anniversary of the W. Burghardt Turner Fellowship Program's existence at Stony Brook University, and to recognize the accomplishments of the program and its many distinguished fellows and alumni, the Center for Inclusive Education will host a grand anniversary event on October 5, 2012 at Stony Brook University. Part conference, part reunion, the celebration will be comprised of several alumni presentations in a variety of formats including workshops, research symposia, and art and music exhibitions along with guest speakers, a networking fair, and a diversity exhibition. Finally, we will cap off the affair with an evening gala that will serve as both a commencement of the 25th anniversary celebration and the welcoming for our 2012 Turner Fellows.
