"Dr. Yang was my childhood idol. My interest in Physics was largely inspired by him and I am very grateful to Dr. Yang for bringing me to Stony Brook.  Contributing to this campaign is a great opportunity for me to thank Dr. Yang and let him know the difference he made in my life."

Dr. Weikang Wu ’83, ’88

"C.N.Yang’s legacy at Stony Brook continues to flourish …  through the Yang Institute for Theoretical Physics and the interdisciplinary research tradition he fostered.  His life’s work has made an indelible imprint on physics and mathematics, and greatly spurred the scientific exchange between the United States and China.  We truly appreciate philanthropic gifts to help create this professorship in Dr. Yang’s honor."
